Mr. Bennett is Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer of CAGR Growth Fund L.P., a long-biased hedge fund strategy which has produced near top 1% performance among all hedge fund investors in 2023.
Mr. Bennett is also Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer for Endowment
Research Group, the endowment model, fund selection arm of a single family office. He is Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships and generating exceptional fund manager deal flow. He advises multi-asset class endowment-style portfolios to allow significantly higher degrees of flexibility to opportunistically invest across asset classes, including stocks, credit, hedge funds, growth equity, venture capital, & real estate.
Years earlier, he made a private later-stage software investment that has achieved a nearly forty-five fold increase in valuation and a compounded annual growth rate of nearly 45%. He has worked on direct private equity deals $100 million in size; one acquired company raised $130 million in venture capital from high-profile venture capital firms including Kleiner Perkins & Khosla Ventures and earned recognition by Fast Company as one of the World's Top 20 Most Innovative Companies.
Mr. Bennett is frequently invited to be a speaker at industry investment conferences and family office events internationally. He is a member of the New York Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race Dinner Committee and a past member of the National Venture Capital Association. He is a member of the Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in New York.
Before his career in investments and his college years, Mr. Bennett was the captain, shortstop, and leading hitter on a Connie Mack State Championship team; according to Baseball America he was rated as the state‘s top major league baseball prospect at his position. Prior to college in football, he was the leading receiver on a State Championship team that finished the year ranked among the fifteen best teams in the country by USA Today. Formerly also the state‘s top ranked tennis player, he was selected for the US Olympic Development Program by the United States Tennis Association.
Mr. Bennett earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors. He holds a master‘s degree from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Bennett completed executive education at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
