Co-Founder & President
Zafiris Vartis is Co-Founder and President of Endowment Research Group. He is responsible for the firm’s expansion into the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East. He is a member of the Investment Committee and Chair of the firm’s Private Equity and Private Debt Investments. He is responsible for capital raising, deal sourcing, and investment due diligence.
Prior thereto, Mr. Vartis worked as Head of Corporate Advisory at Athene Capital, one of the top private equity firms in London. He has worked on individual private equity deals of $300 million in size.
Mr. Vartis also served as a consultant to select family offices, focusing primarily on direct private equity and real estate transactions for the last three years. Previously, he was a senior Vice President at the Transportation & Infrastructure Group as well as an integral part of a Greek coverage team at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking where he worked for 10 years. Prior thereto, he worked as an associate in DTZ & Soros Real Estate Partners. Mr. Vartis has an extensive experience in M&A and capital raising, including IPO’s, secondary offerings, private placements, and bonds.
In other roles, Mr. Vartis is the President of Sustainable Advantage Group, a leading long-biased hedge fund. Mr. Vartis serves on the board of directors of several other privately-owned businesses. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in London.
Mr. Vartis is also Chair of the 3,500 member Cambridge Judge Business School alumni network in London. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics (First Class Degree) and an MPhil in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.
